Microsoft to begin Azure Enterprise DAAC

Microsoft is preparing to add an Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate certification to its portfolio, which will be available in mid-April. This role involves performing advanced data analytics at scale, like cleaning and transforming data, designing and building enterprise data models, incorporating advanced analytics capabilities, integrating with IT infrastructure, and following development, lifecycle practices. These professionals assist in gathering enterprise-level requirements for data analytics solutions such as Azure and Microsoft Power BI. They also guide data governance and configuration settings for Power BI administration, as well as monitor data usage and optimize data analytics solutions.

Candidates applying for this certification should have advanced Power BI skills, such as managing data repositories and data processing in the cloud and on-premises, as well as experience with Power Query and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
