Data Center First announced the launch of 30MW Maiden Data Center

Data Center First Pte Ltd today announced the launch of its first 30MW data center project in Nongsa Digital Park, in Batam, Indonesia. The new data center, Nongsa One, will be designed and built to Uptime Tier III standards and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

Data Center First is the first international data center operator to establish a presence in Batam. Growing demand from Indonesian internet users driven by a more open and competitive Indonesian telecommunications industry continues to attract foreign investment to Indonesia. The US$40 million Phase 1 investment in Data Center First’s Nongsa One DC campus will help strengthen connectivity and the “digital bridge” between Nongsa and Singapore.
